These terms cover Keyring as a whole: this website, the dashboard, the control plane API, and the SDKs as they use that control plane. They were last updated on 26 September 2026. By creating an account you accept them.

Who provides the service

Keyring is operated by Abdelmounaim Belghalem EI (SIRET 91835271700048), an individual business in France. The legal notice gives the full details. Write to hello@keyringdev.com for anything about these terms or the service.

What the service is

Keyring manages the API keys, test mode, rate limits, idempotency and usage of your API. The SDKs run in your own process; the dashboard and the control plane API are a hosted service that runs in the EU only. The docs describe what each part does, including what happens when the control plane is unavailable, and are part of how we describe the service.

Your account

You sign up with an email address you control, and you keep your password and your secret keys to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account and your keys. If you think a key or your account has leaked, revoke the key and write to us. Nobody can recover a key in plaintext, us included: a lost key is replaced, never shown again.

Acceptable use

Do not use Keyring to break the law, to attack or overload the service or anyone else, to get around its limits, or to reach data that is not yours. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Plans and payment

Test mode is free and never counted. Paid plans are billed per active tenant, in EUR, by monthly subscription; the plans and prices are shown before you choose one. Payment is handled by Stripe. Prices carry no VAT (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI). You can cancel a subscription at any time. If a payment fails, the workspace first keeps working, then is throttled in stages; we never revoke your production keys over money.

Your data

What you and your customers put into Keyring stays yours. We process it only to provide the service, as the privacy page describes, which also names our subprocessors. A data processing agreement is available on request at hello@keyringdev.com.

The SDKs

The SDK packages carry the MIT license, and that license governs the code. These terms govern the hosted service they talk to.

Availability and changes

We run the service with care and publish its state on the status page, but we offer no uptime commitment and no service level agreement today. The service is provided as it is. We may change or stop a feature; if a change takes something away from you, we will tell you ahead of time by email. We may update these terms, and will email you before a change that affects you takes effect.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer where they apply.

Ending

You can stop using Keyring and delete your workspace from the dashboard settings at any time; write to hello@keyringdev.com to close your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms. When a workspace is deleted, its keys are revoked.
